About Sonia Lana Siu – The Artist

My love for art began when I was 3.

As a pastime, I always drew on my sketchbook when I saw something funny or special. At 5, my parents sent me to art classes where I took drawing lessons and started to build-up on my foundation skills.

Soon thereafter, my parents bought me sizable canvases to draw on. I discovered the joy of creating large paintings and drawings.

At 8 my parents built me an art studio outside of our house. Although it leaks, it is bright and very nice. They also bought some huge canvases, so big that I had to use a ladder to reach the top!

I also started to draw in different styles, like abstract drawings, pop, etc., and using mixed media.

I like art a lot... I am blessed to do what I truly love and to keep creating more beautiful pieces.
